bye, bye Junior

Losing an animal or a person that is very close to you, It can be hard. When that special person or pet dies, you can get hurt, that is what happened to me. I lost my pet Junior, he was with me from until I was brought home from the hospital and stayed with me for nine years. Tonight I cried to death, thinking of the good memories of propping his two front feet up on my shoulders as we danced to happy music inside the living room, also with the bad memories of the sight of Junior dying, those memories taunt me. Junior not only was my loyal pet, he was the big brother I never had. Thank you Junior, for letting me hug you when I felt sad or frustrated, thank you Junior, for letting me dress you when I did not have a doll to dress. Thank you Junior, for being the runt of your family, because if you were not that jolly little soul, you would not be the last one left for tatay to take home. I wish you could come back, I love you Junior. bye, bye. you will be happy in heaven.

christmas vacation

I spent my Christmas vacation in the Philippines. We left on December 13, 2007. On our way to the Philippines, we stopped at Las Vegas. Las Vegas was very beautiful. I saw a replica of the Eiffel tower and a replica of the statue of liberty, gondolas in a hotel called the venetian, we saw flowers and fountains in the Bellagio. The city of Las Vegas lets you feel like you can go around the world without plane tickets. to be continued next time. next chapter- manila.

One person he`s my role model, Playing sports and doing fine, When I think of role model, I know that he is mine, he`s strong I want to be like him, he`s fierce and never cries, he will be my daddy, always `till he dies.

a miracle just for me

Two years ago when I was at Key West, Florida. I found a really nice piece of wood and I put it in a decorative box from Israel. On the last day we were there, we heard bad news that a horrible hurricane was coming. We were one of the last people to evacuate and we did not have a lot of time to pack. We stuffed all our things in a small car we rented because we could not take a plane out.I was scared for a little while,but soon I got used to it. When I looked out the  window,   I saw the hurricane coming, but thankfully we got away with everybody in a four seat car, we had five people! those people were,exskindiver[my mother],my father ,my sister ,and my uncle. Web drove over an hour to the closest airport and when we got there,I remembered that I had forgotten that marvelous piece of fine wood. I got over it though and two years later we came back and I thought hmm,that piece of would might still be in that box.So I checked inside the box and found nothing but the piece of wood!! I felt so lucky to be able to experience a miracle like that.

this is just for you, that person out there that loves me so. That person that takes care of me because she wants to. There is something in the world that makes me feel the best when i`m with her. Every one needs to be loved and have a person to love,everyone should have that, everyone does. God loves us all no matter what happens or what we do. Thats how she is i sometimes get mad at her but i love her always. ilove you!

A Poem for the Rain

The Stormy Night It was a dark and stormy night and the moon light wasn't bright. I knew my mom was right I couldn't fly my kite. I was so sad. I could not take a bite, but I knew everything will be alright.

Super Sharks

Sharks are the super predators of the sea. They avoid attacking people. They either mistake people for seals or they are just attacking because you are bothering them. Sharks attack less than one hundred times a year. There are about 350 species of sharks. These special creatures might vanish from the earth if we aren't careful with where we put our trash and oils. We also might be more careful if we learn about sharks and then start liking them and caring for them. Sharks are important to the sea because if it is gone, then the species it liked to eat would become too many. Sharks are a big part in the food chain. So, next time you wish there were no sharks, think again!

White Shark Attacks

Great White sharks are the most feared sharks. They are actually more afraid of us, than we are of them. There were less shark attacks before, because people are going farther into where the sharks are. There are more people living near the beach now, than there were before. Sometimes a great white shark, might mistake a surfer for a seal (its favorite food). Some sharks even eat their babies. I am glad my mom did not eat me!

Nutty Caterpillars

One day our mom gave us some peanuts to eat. We saw spider-web looking things in it but we thought it was a part of the peanuts. We all kept eating until I exclaimed that there: There is a caterpillar in the peanuts! So I spit my peanuts out of my mouth and my mom threw all the peanuts away. And then my dad came home and we told him that there was a caterpillar in our peanuts and he told us that the spider web looking thing is a coccoon. Question: What's worse than finding a caterpillar in your peanuts? Answer: Finding half a caterpillar in your peanuts.

The Ocean`s Rough Waters

I was at North Carolina at the beach on my boogie board.

In the waves, I flipped over. I nearly drowned. I thought that was the last minute I would ever be alive. It was very scary.

When I got out of the water, I did not want to go back in for quite a while.

A snake is like a lizard that has no feet . It is very fascinating. Here are some things I call REPTILES- #1.alligator #2.snake #3.lizard #4.chamelion #5.iguana #6.skink #7.turtle Some are dangerous and some are gentle. Some people have them as pets. Even Steve Irwin had a humungous python as a pet.

Steve Irwin, the crocodile hunter

Steve Irwin-A father,a husband THE CROCODILE HUNTER....... He swam in Australia to do a show for animal planet he swam to the bottom of the ocean and saw a stingray and went really close to it. Suddenly the stingray poked its stinger right in the middle of his heart. They rushed him to the hospital but he did not survive. I really liked his shows because he was so brave. As a father and a husband he was a very good man. I felt that his children were broken hearted that their favorite man died. And I am sure that Terry, their mom was very sad too. It was important to me that he was helping the animals. It was very nice of him. I am sure that his family would have done anything to let him be alive.

Hornet stings

Yesterday I was at my cousin Oni's house in the back yard I was running then I ran into a two feet pit and guess what was swarming in the air ...HORNETS!!!!! They flew right into my clothes and stung me on the thigh, two under my armpit and two on my leg. only my right side of my body was stung. I'm glad I am not allergic to bee stings.

My name is Kika. I like to read books about animals. My favorite channel is animal planet. I love cute and cuddly animals, especially puppies and other baby animals. Animals are so entertaining, but I'd say dolphins are the best entertainers. I have a dog. His name is Junior. He is a boxer. Flat faced dogs are the cutest dogs ever to live on the earth. Other dogs are cute too, but not as cute as boxers. Sometimes my dog causes a lot of mischief, such as eating trash and jumping up on the table and getting food. Just yesterday he ate a whole peanutbutter and jelly sandwich. I spanked him on the rear end when he did such a horrible thing. He was scared of me for the rest of the day. I was sorry for him, but I had to do it. One time, we even dressed him up in my mom's clothes. It was my idea. He just stood there while my sister and I dressed him up. We don't know if he liked it. He kept stepping out of the black boots that we put on him. We could tell that he didn't like the boots. It was actually very funny. My mom has green eyebrows because of this dog.
