I was at North Carolina at the beach on my boogie board.
In the waves, I flipped over. I nearly drowned. I thought that was the last minute I would ever be alive. It was very scary.
When I got out of the water, I did not want to go back in for quite a while.

I had that same experiece when I was your age and actually when I was older, but it was with a scuba diver. I felt the same way.
You know what they say about falling off a horse? You have to get back on!
I flipped on my boogie board the same way (even at the SAME BEACH!). I really like to go into the ocean though, so I would get back up and do it again.
My favorite is to body surf with NO board. Try it next time!
